Another day - and a really good one!

I thanked the Lord for getting me through the night peacefully and asked that He guide me through my day.  This is a tough time for me and my co-workers.  We're all going to lose our jobs.  I feel that the last thing I can do where I'm employed is to make sure that they land on their feet.  Thank God that I have been able to cultivate a very large network of professionals and friends that with the Lord's Blessing, I will be able to see them transition to positions that will allow them to pay their bills and get their kids through school.  Please pray for me and them.  Nothing is predictable.

Enough of the doom and gloom!  My God got me through the day in flying colors!  I thought of each and every one of you and prayed that you would all be safe.  In the lessons we learned at ROCK, darkness takes many forms.  Something as 'simple' as stress can distract you and make you lose sight of letting God be your guide.  Something as powerful as the 'drama' in your life and how you deal with the everyday interactions with your friends - boyfriends, girlfriends, their boyfriends, their girlfriends, their ex-boyfriends, your ex-boyfriends, their ex-girlfriends, your ex-girlfriends - you get the point...   can be a huge disctraction from your focus on letting the Light of Jesus shine through You.  Remember to step back and take a moment to remember Your Light.  Instead of being pulled into the darkness around you, step back.  Be the Light of Jesus!  By example, show others the Grace you have been given by our Lord and Savior.  Step back and respond with the Holy Spirit granted in you.  You might end up looking foolish just like Jesus did when paved the way for our salvation.  We will not pay the price he did so be brave.

God Bless all of you.
